“Printing” is a lossy conversion of the flexible working state of a project, akin to (and sometimes literally referring to) actual physical printing. For example, flattening layers of a visual art file, or saving the audio/video of an expansive project.

- weird artifacts that you wouldnt think of
- can be taken to the max with infinite loops for unexpected behavior
